Description:
Strengthmeter serves to measure physical properties of corrugated board, especially strenght. It is possible to realize multiple measuring methods, altough the principle is always based in measuring the strenght. This strenght is created as a result of pressing the samples of board between upper and lower disk of strenghtmeter. The pressing is evaluated by incremental linear measuring probe with distinction of 0.005mm, the strenght is measured sila by deforming lense of tenzometric type, which exit analog signal is digitalized by accurate, linear A/D transducer „sigma-delta“. The whole measuring process id guided by microprocessor and measured results are saved into memory from where it is possible to measure them with connected PC. The actual values of strenght are visible on back-lighted LCD display.
